Sometimes pets need immediate medical attention and you don’t have time to wait for an allotted appointment later in the week. Sunrise Boulevard Animal Hospital provides same-day urgent care appointments during open hours to get you the veterinary care when you need it.
Our Urgent Care can often see things more quickly and be a more cost-effective option than going to an emergency clinic.

Common Urgent Care Cases
There is a list of ailments that are considered urgent and require veterinary attention as soon as possible. These include:
- Heatstroke: without proper attention, this condition can be fatal
- Severe wounds: bleeding and trauma from severe wounds need immediate veterinary intervention
- Seizures: there are many conditions that can cause seizures, and veterinary intervention can help us narrow down the cause
- Allergic reactions: including swelling and anaphylaxis
- Hospice and end-of-life care: if you think the time has come, we will do what you can to fit you in that day
